Remember being a kid, when your mom used to bug you with the boring chores? But that’s not so bad compared to the draining lessons that your parents gave you about smoking, drinking, drugs and all that bad stuff? Yeah that was awful, but the ironic thing is that when you grow up you kind of start to understand that those lessons were actually useful.

The same thing can be said about the lessons that every great blogger teaches us. No matter which great blogger you’d ask, all of them would tell you one main thing – getting your blog popular is all about writing a lot and writing good. The ironic part about this is that we all know that but we don’t do that. I mean just think about it – how many times have you been too lazy to blog daily?  How many times have been too lazy to do research? How many times have you been demotivaded by the low traffic for your blog?

So I have a simple trick to help you earn some traffic for your blog or website. It’s all very simple – write daily. It doesn’t matter what you write, just keep on writing. I’d suggest you write something easy, because it’s hard to keep on posting long articles every day. But that’s not all. Stop looking at your blog stats. Just forget them for a month and keep on writing every day. To do this you might try writing series of articles about the same subject.

But this is all old news – you might say. Hell yes, it’s all old news, but the ironic thing is that 90% of people who fail at blogging know this but don’t do this. I mean it’s the same for everything in life – if you want to learn something in life – just keep on doing it untill you get better and better. Of course, it’s not easy to keep on being motivated, but just keep on writing and writing and you will succeed.

Actually you might be surprised how fast you can gain valuable traffic. For instance, I created a blog about urban legends a little more than a month ago. It was one of my first blogs, let alone about subject like this, so at first I got almost no traffic. So I decided to promise myself to post daily for a month. And guess what – now I get 100 – 200 views daily. And the number keeps on growing – las week the biggest number of daily views on my blog was 53 – now it’s more than two hundred.

So I hope this simple trick will help you. Thanks for reading!

I’ve been trying out one cool trick for my articles for a month now and it works like magic so I decided to share it with you.

One of the hardest things about internet writing is motivating yourself to write as often as possible. One of the best techniques I’ve found to be useful is writing series of articles. The idea is simple – you choose a topic and write a series of articles about it. For instance, I’ve always loved cats so decided to write a series of articles about the cats of the world. The idea is great because it’s easier to do research for a series of articles, also usually the articles are shorter, thus you save time. Another huge advantage is that your readers, who liked the first article will most likely read the other ones. This way you will gain useful fans you will contribute to your traffic in the future.

So the plan is simple – just write daily and you will notice how the overall traffic to your blog or website will increase rapidly. Also if you find yourself bored writing about the same topic you can write a couple of series at once, this way you will cover a variety of subjects and won’t get bored. I hope this little tip will help you. Thanks for reading!

Most of the people who decide to start writing for money have one question in their minds – is it really possible to earn a decent part-time or even full-time income from writing? Ironically, even though it’s the most popular question among beginner writers, it’s really hard to find an honest answer to this question. So I decided to try to answer this question. I don’t earn my living from internet writing, but I’ve been doing this for more than a year now and I know a lot of people who earn a decent income from their articles.

So first let’s talk about the payment system of Triond. Triond pays for views of your content. That means that every 5 – 10 views you get generate 0.01 $. Yeah I know this is not a big number and many people who are interested in internet writing usually lose interest because of this number. But even though you get only a penny for 5 – 10 views, the views add up rapidly when you have a lot of articles. Also you earn by Google Adsense, which is integrated into Triond. That means that relevant ads will be placed in your articles and you will earn money if people will view and hit them. Furthermore, there is a new feature in Triond, which gives you additional 5 -20% revenue if you will write 5,10 or 20 articles a month.

This is all fine, but what are the real numbers – you might ask. Well let’s take my account for example. I started writing with some terrible articles about gaming, which brought me no revenue. I actually got almost no money for the first 10 articles I wrote, because nobody read them. Now after almost a year, I have 95 articles and I earn about 10 dollars a month (about 30 – 40 cents daily). This is not a big sum, because I earn most of my money from about 10 – 20 popular articles. So as you might imagine I could earn about 4 times more, if I had 95 great articles instead of 10 – 20 great articles and 70 average ones.

40 cents daily for a year’s work pff… – you might say. And yes you’re right it’s not a huge sum of money. But the real beauty of Triond is that it’s not a get rich fast scheme, but more of an investment. You see, even if I stopped writing now I would still get my 10 bucks monthly, because people still read my articles. Now imagine if you had 1000 articles (2 – 3 years of work if you write daily) you’d get 200 – 500 dollars a month (but having in mind that your articles would get more popular overtime and you’d have more fans overtime, you’d get even more). Not a bad investment I’d say. Even better, these approximations apply only if you’re an average guy, who writes average stuff, article a day and so on. However, I know people who write a couple of articles a day. They write excellent articles and most importantly – they enjoy it. That is why they get 500 – 1000 dollars monthly or even more.

So in conclusion, Triond is more of an investment than a fast way to get money. You can’t make a fortune in a minute, a day, a month or even a year, but if you enjoy writing, work hard and improve you can get a decent revenue, or even a minimum wage from your articles. Of course, it’s a lot of work, but believe me, when you, after a couple of years of writing, will go on a holiday of your dreams from the money you earned writing, you will not regret all the hard work.

These days many people underestimate the power of making money with blogs. And that’s unfortunate because blogs offer an oportunity for anyone to enjoy the pleasure of  writing about your favourite subject  even getting some cash in the process. Even better, if you are ready to put some work in it you can make a relatively decent income from blogging. But how can you make money with blogging?

It’s easy – you can make money blogging by posting advertisements on your blog or marketing and advertising various products. Of course there are more options, for instance selling content, selling various services and so on, but they require more experience, so let’s just skip them for now.

So how do you earn money by using ads on your blog?  Every time someone views a page you have and advertisement on, you will get some small revenue. Even better, if someone clicks the advertisement, you will gain even more money. One of the best ways to earn money with advertisements is by using Google Adsense, which is a completely free service. All you have to do is install Google Adsense ads on your blog and create a Google Adsense account. It’s needless to say that there are other possibilities when it comes to gaining money by placing ads on your site. Just type PPC advertising or CPM advertising in google and you’ll find what you need.

The hardest part though is not earning but getting traffic to your blog. One of the most simple yet useful techniques is creating a web of blogs about the same subject and connecting them with links. Or of course you can always focus on one good blog and post often. Blogs usually take a good position on the search engine result lists, so if you blog often you should eventually get some traffic.

Now don’t get me wrong – even though it’s not hard to earn a couple of bucks, you will not get rich instantly using these techniques. But let’s face it there’s simply no easy way of getting rich instantaneously on the web (well unless you win a lottery or something like that). However, if you really work hard, enjoy blogging and make good posts, and are ready to develop your blog, you might earn a decent income out of it. Then of course you can create a website or use more advanced earning techniques for blogs and earn more. It’s all in your hands. Good luck earning!

PS. blogging sometimes might feel like this but don’t you ever give up:

Free Stuff = Traffic

Posted: February 2, 2011 in SEO

One of the best ways to gain some valuable traffic to your website is by creating free to download content. Let’s face it, everyone loves free stuff – we love downloading movies, music, ebooks, documents and so on. So how can one use this knowledge to make a website more popular?

It’s dead simple – just produce some free to download content and post it on your website. Of course, the question arises – what can you produce? Or where can you get free stuff to publish on your website? To find the answer, try to observe yourself. What do you download from the internet most often? Is it ebooks, music or maybe something else? Then all you have to do is share your interest for your loved subject or hobby with your website visitors.

Now there’s a variety of ways of producing content, for instance, creating videos, making photographs, or even creating and sharing art work. But what if you’re just a simple guy, who doesn’t know how to create interesting videos, or how to play instruments and so on? Well don’t worry there are still many great ways of producing free content.

One of the best ways is creating ebooks. You can make an e-book about nearly everything. For instance, if you love cars, you can make an e-book about Italian cars or fastest cars of all time and so on. If you like collecting post stamps, you can create an album of your post stamps or an e-book of top 10 rarest stamps of all time. Also you can share your professional knowledge. For instance if you’re an electrical engineer you can share your knowledge of how to fix a radio and so on. All you need is just a little of imagination and work and you’re done.

Also you can always use freeware content and advertise it in your website. For instance, if you’ve just had a great time reading a great e-book why not share it with everyone? As long as it’s freeware, you will get more views as well as you will advertise a great e-book. It’s a “no one looses” situation.

All in all, there is a variety of great ways to publish free stuff and get loads of traffic as long as you have some imagination and are ready for some work. I hope this article gave you some useful ideas how to make your website more popular. Thanks for reading.

I’ve read many articles and e-books about blogging and making money online. However, most of the e-books and online articles only catch your attention with “easy ways to earn money online fast” and then completely disappoint you. Yet, there are still good e-books out there, you just have to search for them a little deeper. One of the best e-books I managed to find was the Blog Profits Blueprint by Yaro Starak.

But don’t get me wrong, he’s not one of those scammers, he’s actually a very respected figure among bloggers. His e-book about blogging and money-making via blogs is  a very well written, easy to use and understand guide for beginner bloggers.

Now as a beginner blogger I can honestly say, that this e-book is really useful. It has everything you need to kick-start a blog and gain some valuable traffic. The book starts with an introduction to blogging, how to create a blog, comparison of various blog websites ( blogger, wordpress and so on…) and other useful tips. When it comes to good titles, sometimes style, uniqueness and perfect wording is not what it’s all about. Sometimes you can write a terrible title, but it’s still attracts traffic. So where’s the secret?

It’s all about the feelings. Yeah I said it – feelings. If you’re title causes feelings for a reader, it’s very likely your title will attract traffic.

For instance let’s check out these titles:

1) Shocking Car Crash – 5 People Brutally Injured

2) Stunning Dress of Megan Fox Shows More Than it Should

3) Picture of a Cute Homeless Puppy

It’s easy to see why these titles, even though they are not very unique or creative, still catch attention. They cause feelings of curiosity and fear and even bring bad memories (in the case of the title no. 1) and automatically catch attention. In the case of the 2nd title, you automatically feel curiosity and maybe even slight arousal, which of course makes you check out the picture, article or a post.  As for the last title, it’s clear that everyone loves cute puppies and everyone feels sorry for the homeless ones.

So you get the idea – feelings = attention = traffic. Once again, it’s a basic idea, but sometimes we forget how powerful basic ideas are.

So once again we tackle one of the most important questions for all of you internet writers – how to write good titles. This time let’s look at some tips for what a good title should have.

Benefits for the Readers

The idea behind this is very simple – write titles, which show benefits that you have in store for your readers or website visitors. For instance, if you write about earning money using google AdSense, don’t write a title, which sounds boring and doesn’t include anything for the reader. For example, a title like Earning Money With Your Website Using Google AdSense is bad, because it’s boring and it doesn’t show how the reader could benefit from your article or website. Thus it’s better to write something like Learn to Earn Some Sweet Cash With Google AdSense. It sounds natural, easy to remember and it shows how readers can benefit from your website.

3 Page Rule

So how do you check if your title is not too common (after all, there’s nothing worse than a tittle, which is overused)? Use the so-called 3 Page Rule – check your title in Google and see how many pages of identical or very similar titles there are. If there are almost no identical titles – it’s a green light for your title.

So that’s all for today, thanks for reading!

PS. after writing this stuff I realised that the title of this whole series is also not perfect. Yeah it’s interesting, and eye-catching having in mind that it’s about internet marketing. However, from the title alone you can’t tell what the post is all about. Hey, but that’s not the end of the world, because there’s such a thing as tags, which will clearly indicate what your post is all about. So I guess a final tip for you is innovation > information for titles.

Everyone knows that in order to get traffic you have to produce great quality content, but is it always the most important thing? Another important way of getting traffic is, of course, producing a lot of content. So what is more important – quality or quantity? The answer is – it depends.

It depends on what kind of content you create, what popularity your website, articles or blog has and how much free time do you have. But one thing is constant – you have to create a lot of content as well as good content.

One of the biggest enemies of new bloggers or website creators is a constant feeling that they are wasting their time, when they get no traffic. And the reasons or natural, new bloggers usually are obsessed with creating quality content. Whereas sometimes quantity is as important as quality.

It’s important to catch your fan base and constant traffic by updating your blog or website regularly. The best way to do this is to create as much content as possible early on. That means that it’s always a good idea to create shorter and good posts than very good but only a few.

If you’re like most of the bloggers or website creators you will not get thousands of views for one great article, thus, it’s always important to write many articles or posts. Of course, that doesn’t mean you have to write bad quality content.

The best way is to find a harmony between writing a lot of articles or posts and writing with quality. From what I experienced and found out, the best way to do this is making a schedule of when you will write specific articles. For instance, every weekday you can write short posts on your blog, whereas on weekends explode with a great big article. Another way is creating article series or blog categories – some for short and simple posts and articles, others for long posts, which need a lot of research and so on.

All in all, the best way to find out what works best for you is by a little experiment. Try writing short simple articles and posts for a week and then switch to more serious stuff for the following week. Then, after all of this work, check which week is more succesful. Thanks for reading!
